Lessons from
Kimberly Ford is a featured clinician at schools, music
institutes, and colleges, throughout the U.S. She is
President of the Santa Barbara Vocal Jazz Foundation,
as well a member of the faculty, teaching
music theory, vocal jazz, jazz history,
and performance.
Kimberly is Co-Founder of the Santa Barbara Jazz Workshop,
a week-long, immersive, clinic and performance program for instrumentalists
and vocalists in the Big Band format, that takes place
in Santa Barbara, California. July 7 - July 11
Kimberly teaches at Joe Craven's Vocali Voice Camp
in Colfax, California. This is a one-of-a-kind, 5 Day workshop,
in beautiful Northern California. The workshop's mission is to validate,
encourage, and promote the creative abilities of all people, with their voices
through music and spoken word. April 25 - April 28
Kimberly teaches at The Northwoods Jazz Camp
at Holiday Acres Resort, in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.
A learning and growing musical experience for adult vocalists and
instrumentalists, taught in a beautiful wooded lakeside setting,
in northern Wisconsin. May 15 - May 18
I also offer private lessons at my Studio in Santa Barbara,
or remotely by Skype. I teach all age levels, and tailor our
lessons to your specific style, or needs.
