Kimberly’s first CD, Table For One, was recorded in Seattle, Washington with mentorship from vocal jazz great Jay Clayton and support from Seattle based musicians Randy Halberstadt -piano, Jeff Johnson-bass and Greg Williamson-drums . She followed this recording in 2007 with the (2 disc) CD/DVD, Songs In The Key Of Sea, with her LA based band; Jason Harnell-drums, Ryan McGillicuddy-bass and Mark Wagoner-guitar. Kimberly is currently in the studio with long time musical partner, George Friedenthal working on the duos first recording together and Kimberly’s third CD.

Kimberly is included in the consummate book on jazz singers entitled (what else?) The Jazz Singers, by Jazz critic, Scott Janow, author of nine books on jazz.

:: Environmental Work

In an effort to create greater environmental awareness, Songs In The Key Of Sea is an ocean themed jazz CD which includes a companion DVD of underwater footage set to an original sound track; footage offered by Emmy Award-winning underwater filmmaker, Mike deGruy. A percentage of the proceeds from this CD/DVD will benefit the National Marine Sanctuary Foundation who supported this project and who also included one of their own short films on the DVD in this (2 disc ) set. Kimberly offers her time and talents to numerous environmental organizations including a recent on camera performance for the Community Environmental Council’s film, "Fossil Free In 33".
