  Bio
Kimberly Ford’s music studies and performing began at the age of seven, with leading roles in numerous youth productions of Gilbert & Sullivan operettas by the age of 14. She went on to study jazz voice in Seattle, Washington with vocal jazz great, Jay Clayton, and now makes her home on the California Central Coast. Kimberly has written and recorded for television, radio and film including compositions for the National Marine Sanctuary. She is a featured artist with the Smithsonian Jazz Series and has appeared at jazz festivals throughout the US. A live performer, recording artist and educator, she also mentors young filmmakers and communication artists in Santa Barbara, California where she lives with husband Richard, daughter Natalie, an aspiring drummer, and son Austin, a locally competitive surfer and a nationally competitive snowboarder.
